AOCC 2020
The 8th Annual Meeting of Asian Organization for CROHN'S & COLITIS
Gateway to Excellence in IBD Research and Practice
June 18 - 20, 2020 Busan, Korea

We are pleased to announce the “GO IMKASID” program in conjunction with the 8th Annual Meeting of Asian Organization for Crohn’s & Colitis (AOCC 2020) which will be held from June 15 to 17, 2020, in Korea.

The IMKASID (International Meeting on Intestinal Diseases in Conjunction with the Annual Congress of the Korean Association for the Study of Intestinal Disease) was started in 2016 for the sake of the active exchange between the international scholars in the fields of intestinal diseases. The GO IMKASID (Great Opportunity for collaboration in IMKASID) was launched at the IMKASID 2019 with 34 trainees with the purpose of providing educational opportunities to young Asian doctors with a special interest in the field of lower gastrointestinal diseases including inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), colorectal neoplasia, lower GI endoscopy and nutrition. In this year, the GO IMKASID program will be focused on IBD. By participating in this program, the participants will be able to acquire the cutting edge knowledge on IBD including diagnosis, management, and endoscopy in IBD at outstanding training centers in Korea through lectures, case discussion, inpatient rounding and observation of endoscopic procedures. The newly acquired knowledge and skills are anticipated to be invaluable in promoting patient care back in the trainees’ home countries or regions. This year’s program will provide expanded grants (USD 2,000) to trainees to cover all travel expenses and registration fees for AOCC 2020.

We hope many young Asian doctors have an interest in GO IMKASID 2020 program and apply for the program. Please read the guidelines carefully before submitting your application.
